As we celebrate another Earth Day this month, Energy Transfer is proud to reaffirm our commitment to conserving and protecting our natural resources. This year, we are thrilled to continue our tradition of Earth Day initiatives in Pennsylvania, returning to familiar landscapes and engaging in meaningful activities that contribute to environmental stewardship.
Bradford County Earth Day Showcase
Starting in 2017, the Bradford County Conservation District has hosted an annual Earth Day celebration to highlight the county’s natural resources, environment, and conservation efforts. We were proud to again sponsor the event on April 20 and participate in the showcase as an exhibitor. This event offers engaging activities and experiences for the Bradford County community to deepen its appreciation and understanding of our environment.

Lawrenceville in Pittsburgh: Beautifying Butler Street
For the second straight year, team members from our fuel supply terminal, located in the Lawrenceville neighborhood, joined other team members April 24 to sponsor and participate in this year’s Clean-Up Butler Street event. Organized by Lawrenceville, the event helps keep the main business district looking its best.

Loyalhanna Lake: A Day of Cleanup and Community
In what has become one of our most anticipated annual Earth Day events, our dedicated volunteers gathered at Loyalhanna Lake for a cleanup day on April 24, in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Armed with enthusiasm and a pontoon boat, we worked tirelessly to rid the lake shoreline of debris and litter, enhancing the beauty of this recreational gem for all to enjoy.

Raystown Lake: Building Habitat, Building Futures
Continuing our efforts to improve our aquatic ecosystems, Energy Transfer employees joined forces with the Army Corps and students from Juniata College on April 29 to construct fish habitat structures at Raystown Lake. Using locally sourced fresh-cut hemlock, we crafted innovative structures designed to support aquatic life, providing essential hiding spots and breeding grounds for fish species. This endeavor underscores our commitment to environmental sustainability, particularly in man-made reservoirs like Raystown Lake.
