2025 was a year defined by commitment and collaboration for Energy Transfer across the Northeast United States. Over the past year, we have continued to strengthen our safety initiatives for first responders, invested in environmental stewardship programs, and supported our neighbors through dedicated community efforts. We are excited to reflect on some of our partnerships throughout this year.
Fighting Food and Financial Insecurity
Energy Transfer is proud to continue our role in the fight against hunger across our operating footprint. Our partnership with Philabundance remains a cornerstone of this effort.
This year, Energy Transfer and the Sunoco Foundation continued their long-standing support, providing a major financial and fuel donation to help keep Philabundance’s fleet of delivery vehicles on the road. With over a decade of support, our total contribution has now reached over $3.4 million. In addition to financial support, our Northeast team participated in multiple volunteer shifts throughout the year, assisting with the preparation of meal kits and sorting fresh produce for distribution to families in the Greater Philadelphia area.
We partnered with the Ohio Oil and Gas Association (OOGA) for their annual Fill the Truck event that supports Toys for Tots Ohio. Working alongside our valued energy industry partners, we helped fill the trucks that distributed toys and brought joy and support to hundreds of families across Ohio ahead of the holiday season.
Supporting Our First Responders
Public safety and emergency preparedness remain paramount to our operations. Our long history of supporting local first responders grew stronger in 2025 through dedicated funding and training.

The Energy Transfer First Responder Fund had an impactful year, awarding grants to organizations across the region. Since 2016, Energy Transfer has proudly awarded more than $2.3 million in grants to emergency response organizations across the Northeast.
This year, grants included $19,000 to the Springville Volunteer Fire Company in Susquehanna County, PA, for portable radios; $15,000 to the Londonderry Fire Company in Dauphin County, PA, for turnout gear; nearly $15,000 to the City of Lima Police Department in Ohio for communications equipment; and more than $8,000 to the Aston Township Police Department for automated license plate readers, which are now part of Neumann University’s Cyber Crime Center in Delaware County, PA.
These are just a few of the many grants we were honored to award this year.

Protecting the Environment
Energy Transfer remains dedicated to protecting and enhancing the natural resources in the communities where we operate.
We partnered with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and local conservation groups to execute several habitat restoration projects. This included maintenance and protection of critical wetland areas and working alongside students to install fish structures in area lakes, providing essential breeding and feeding grounds.
Honoring Our Veterans
We honor the brave men and women who have served our nation through continuous year-round support efforts.
Energy Transfer proudly continued its annual sponsorship of the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association (DCVMA), supporting the Energy Transfer Veterans Memorial Rink in Newtown Square, PA. Additionally, we were the Presenting Sponsor of DCVMA’s annual Freedom Medal Dinner, an annual event that celebrates local veterans who embody patriotism, service, and sacrifice.
We held our annual “Educate and Skate” field trips early this year, in partnership with DCVMA, providing students with a unique day of learning about our local heroes followed by ice skating and outdoor fun.
Fostering Education and Innovation
Our community involvement expanded in 2025 with a focus on education and innovation.
This year, Energy Transfer made two contributions to school STEM and STEAM programs in southeast Pennsylvania. Our contributions included a $2,000 STEAM grant to Upper Chichester Middle School and a donation to the Linwood Elementary Home & School group. These programs aim to foster creativity, critical thinking, and a passion for STEM fields among young learners, empowering them to build a brighter future as the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators.
We hosted a group of seventh-grade technology students from the Union Local School District on a tour of our Seneca Compressor Station in Belmont County, Ohio. Compressor stations help keep natural gas flowing at specific pressures and volumes throughout a pipeline.
We also participated in the Burgettstown Middle/High School’s career fair in Washington County, PA.
Additionally, we celebrated the “Built by Brilliance: Honoring Energy Transfer’s Female Engineers” initiative, showcasing the vital contributions of women in STEM fields across our Northeast facilities.
Making Our Mark in Marcus Hook
This past year, we deepened our commitment to the Marcus Hook community through dedicated time spent volunteering, fostering lasting partnerships, and creating shared value.
For the second year, we celebrated National Propane Day with a community barbecue in Marcus Hook, adjacent to the terminal. Our barbecue featured propane trivia, a raffle, music, football, a food truck, hot dogs grilled on a propane-powered grill, and much more.
We are proud to be an annual supporter of the Borough of Marcus Hook’s Summer Concert Series. There’s nothing better than hearing local bands and celebrating community spirit right down the street from our Marcus Hook Terminal.
We were honored to participate in Fire Prevention Week, where we collaborated with the Marcus Hook Trainer Fire Department, the Marcus Hook Terminal Fire Department, and the Marcus Hook Borough Police Department for an educational session at Marcus Hook Elementary School.
Looking to the Future
As 2025 comes to a close, Energy Transfer’s commitment to our communities, support for safety, and investment in sustainable operations remain steadfast. We are proud of the work we’ve accomplished alongside our partners this year, and we look forward to achieving even greater impact in 2026.
